Aim and Scope:
This special session focuses on advancing intelligent transformation and innovation in industrial systems through artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. Its primary aim is to drive industrial efficiency, adaptability, and sustainability by integrating AI into core processes such as manufacturing, logistics, and quality control. The scope of this session welcomes results relevant to industries such as manufacturing, biotechnology, healthcare, home automation, maintenance, pharmaceuticals, service, supply chains, transportation, and other fields. Key objectives include enabling autonomous decision-making in machinery, optimizing resource allocation, enhancing predictive maintenance, precise process control, and fostering human-machine collaboration.

Introduction to organizers:
Chang Liu (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in systems engineering with the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 2020. He is currently a lecturer in the Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Northeastern University, Shenyang, China. His research interests include data analytics and optimization for smart industry, model predictive control, machine learning, computational intelligent optimization, and engineering applications in various industrial processes.
